• when to ask

Too much empathy → hesitation
Too little → feels transactional

When a FOH member struggles to convert, people assume it’s a confidence issue.
But more often, it’s lack of structure.
A well-structured conversation: –


• sets clear objectives
• stays in control
• uncovers the patient’s true needs

In aesthetics, communication is emotional.
We’re not selling a treatment — we’re influencing how someone feels about themselves.
So, when a FOH team: –


• rush explanations
• don’t ask deeper questions
• leave uncertainty unresolved
• use unclear language


…they unknowingly affect the patient’s willingness to book or return.
Communication is the invisible thread that holds the entire patient journey together.
